K-12 Independent Study program for students living on the Divide

Independent Study is an instructional option available to all K-12 students of the Black Oak Mine Unified School District. Program applications are available online at our web site and in the offices of each school site within the District. Inquiries are welcome. The Friends of Golden Sierra Boosters is a non-profit organization that raises funds for the extra curricular programs at the high school. We raise and donate funds for safety equipment, new uniforms, sports warm ups, the library, upgrading out-dated equipment and recently purchased a new sound system for Grizzly Stadium.
