St. James Catholic Church in Georgetown is having its 8th annual Western Barbecue and Cowboy Music on Saturday, September 13 from 4:00-7:00pm on the church grounds on Harkness St.(just past Georgetown School) Enjoy tender, juicy barbecue tri-tip beef along with toe-tapping Western... Cowboy... Rockabilly...Swing music from "the Stardust Cowboys" who hail from both Foresthill and Placerville. We will have all the barbecue fixins... Texas beans, salad, bread and homemade desserts. Included in the fun will be a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, door prizes, and no host bar. Tickets are ONLY $15.00; $5.00 hot dog dinner for kids 7-12 years of age and youngsters 6 and under are free.
