Early Childhood Brain Development Seminar (Feb 23)
Full Description:
Georgetown Divide community members are invited to a seminar raising awareness about brain development in the neglected, abused, and traumatized young child on Saturday, February 23 at the Greenwood Community Center located at 4411 HWY 193 in Greenwood from 8:30am-12:30pm. The seminar will be presented by Catherine Underwood, marriage and family therapist intern, from Family Connections- El Dorado County. This seminar is recommended for parents, pre-school teachers, K-3 teachers, counselors, social workers, child care providers, and nurses. FREE childcare, breakfast and snacks provided. Registration and $10 fee due by Friday, February 15. Seminar is limited to first 50 registrants, scholarships available. Interested parties may call after registration deadline for availability.
