Mustangs & Merlot, a fundraiser for the American Mustang Foundation, will be held on Sunday, July 12th from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Venezio Winery (located on Hwy 49 between Pilot Hill and Coloma). Special guests include the widely published and critically acclaimed writer Deanne Stillman, doing a reading and signing of her book, Mustang: The Saga of the Wild Horse in the American West, and2 locally renowned equine artists, B. K. England and Leslie Ann Webb, displaying their work (also available for purchase). The event will include cowboy poetry, music, appetizers and wine (2 glasses including an engraved wine glass), silent auction and a raffle.
